The GARM has become trash. Who is most responsible?

Honestly it's not much different from when it was nearing the end of the Lin days.... it's super toxic, and for the same reason it was toxic back then.

Player only fans are a cancer in a fanbase.... especially when their player is failing.

Yeah I think you missed the point. (ie, the GARM is trash, but creating a thread with the sole purpose of causing fights in the GARM is pretty ironic.)

 

It's the PLAYER ONLY FANS that's killing the Garm. I was a fan of Harden when he was a Rocket, it's natural. But since he's been gone, my fandom is with the current Rocket's roster!

 

Are people sometimes overzealous in their fandom of players on the Rockets?

Sure.

But it seems like people with obsessive hate of certain players have the least amount of self awareness to understand that they are at least 50% of the toxicity.

Like just the most basic level of self awareness goes a long way here.

Obsessive hatred is always more toxic than obsessive fandom just from the aspect of how one would approach these topics.
