I don't know why I can't find the women's 1500 meter swim finals where Ladecki won gold on Peacock? I looked all over. I guess they haven't put it up yet...which is strange. Or, it's completely hidden from me. They got the highlight of her exiting the pool and the kid reaction, though. WTF Peacock?
Simone is so great it takes the drama out. She wins so effortlessly; shes competeing against herself. ngl, Simone needs a rival to spice it up. the spicy content came off the field with her old teammate MyKayla Skinner
sometimes they hide it so they can rerun it in prime time which is dumb becasue spoilers are everywere.
Congratulations to St. Paul’s own Suni Lee! https://www.mprnews.org/story/2024/...-individual-all-around-title-gymnastics-paris
What’s more amazing about Simone Biles is she’s doing this at the age of 27. in high level female gymnastics 18 used to be considered past your prime.
I recently looked up all the All-Around Gold Medal winners. Except for the first winner in 1952, Simone is at least 6 yrs older than anyone else who has won…ever…mostly 8-10 yrs older, as you said.
I did not realize there was such an age gap.....................hell, I assumed she would do it again in 4 years
That is 2 massive stories in the BMX finals. Mens - 1,2,3 for France Women's - winner doing it for her brother, who was a medal favourite in Tokyo but crashed before those Olympics, 2 month coma and permanently crippled.
Also - medal tally currently with France 2nd and Australia 3rd has to be somewhat unusual this deep in the games??
