And let's say she is a intersex woman.... Should those people not consider sports growing up because people like you will scream that they are participating? There has never been some intersex born woman who plays in professional male leagues. So you are asking that these people with genetic anomalies not garner interests in things like sports because it would be a dead end thing for them?

If the claim is that this person is actually biologically male, and due to a DSD was miscategorized from birth, then I'll grant that at least there is some consistency in the argument that she should not be allowed to compete alongside other biologically female athletes.

But what is the proposed solution? Every athlete should submit to a genetic test and/or inspection of their genitals to confirm their sex, or perhaps just the ones who appear "different"?

 

I think in this day and age, a simple chromosome test would make sense. I do think it is the norm in some competitions/disciplines outside of the Olympics.

Also, I do feel for these individuals, but the interest of women in having a right to a fair competition outweighs the interest of the people with such conditions in participating in the women's competition, in my opinion.

They claim (apparently based on the "eye test") that the person is biologically male even while identifying as female since birth. That, by definition, would make them transgender, were it true. Whether the person "identifies" as transgender is not really relevant, in the conservative view that "gender identity" has no legitimacy as a concept.
