Honestly there is some really bad case of basic failure in reading comprehension. After reading that you are telling me rockets media didn't see Sengun as the long term price and Bruno as just a temporary fit? They literally are justifying the benching with "we can train him up to be a future offensive engine and it's difficult to do that now with the starting line up or two high usage guards". And the takeaway you came out of is Rockets media is higher on Bruno than Sengun? So you people have basic reading abilities?
You know, it is the job of journalists, analysts to make meaning out of the combination of what is said and what action is taken. If you literally believed every word that is fed to you by politicians etc. there would be no job like that. In this case you don’t need to have a ton of experience to figure out what they intend, considering how they treated Sengun vs kpj in the past and how they invested in kpj. If you are believing their intentions were gm good for Sengun, you are the one with the lack of comprehension and you look like a fool just like iko and clutch. At least they are getting paid for it.
The media tried to spin a decision as positive is not the same as the claim of "the media believes Bruno is better than Sengun". The media justified the decision with "We want to train up Sengun to be a offensive centerpiece".
R Right, parroting talking points fed by the management is ‘putting a positive spin’. So I see that this is your way of putting a positive spin on the media’s failure. Their job is to do independent reporting. If they don’t they would look like idiots. Buying into what is fed by the management is a preference and it is then their opinion.
10 times more reasonable arguments can be made to start Cam over Green and even that is a terrible idea.
So no one was saying that Bruno Fernando was better than Alpi. Glad we cleared that up. So we can admit there's a victim complex here.
If there is any sort of complex it is you putting your energy on random somebody than the actual victim. if green got half the bad treatment as Alpi, we would be reading about it on every thread non-stop through the year, unlike this guy who brought it up because Bruno was waived.
Alperen Sengun deserves a lot more praise than Jalen Green. He's produced more at this point. This is the victim complex I'm talking about.
the treatment Sengun got was historically bad, considering how kpj was treated at the same period. The media members like clutch, iko parroting the talking points was an embarrassment. It is okay to mention it when something relevant happens. It is not a complex.
All the Silas reasoning about starting Bruno Fernando comes down to this: We strongly desire KPJ's success. Therefore we will make every sacrifice to make it happen. The 3rd season showed that with a starting backcourt of FVV and Green, both ball dominant guards, Sengun could be very successful.
