Back in the win column. Forgive me Hader for assuming you would give a hr. His numbers in save and non save situations is quite the difference.
Indeed… and given that he’s converted nearly all the saves, I actually expected those numbers to be better in save situations. Which tells me that he’s basically had a down year.
When Hader drives at the plate, his **** is nasty. When he either plants outside and so his arm follows...or overcorrects and throws across his body...no es bueno. It's really not hard to see when he's right and when he's wrong.
Funky series. Gifted them game 1, then plagued by errors in game 2 only for the Pirates to return the favor. I'm just going to pretend we swept them and the Mariners swept the Redsox. Do this again Friday.
Singleton has 6 fielding errors? Yikes. That's not sustainable in his limited action. That's a pace of 15 errors over an entire season. That's an unheard of number for a first baseman. Thanks Mr. Brown for addressing our first base needs. Ya schmuck.
Lucky/fortunate win considering all the unearned runs -- but I'll gladly take it. Astros regain first place. .
He's been bad offensively lately too. It's starting to become a question of whether this team would be better starting Caratini over him at first base.
17 series left Houston 3 elite teams 8 vs teams above .500 fighting for the playoffs 6 vs teams under .500 Not an easy schedule. Seattle 3 elite teams 6 vs teams above .500 fighting for the playoffs 8 vs teams under .500
