I hear he isn’t looking laser sharp so far in early camp, not bad but not what we would expect, etc. Am I worried, of course not, not at all…But I definitely need to lower my expectations a little this year because they are through the roof!! I’m expecting 2023 Stroud on steroids!!
Two things to note. 1. Defense always comes to camp more ahead of the offense. Defense usually dominates early camp. Early defensive dominance in camp also doesn’t mean anything about how the defense performs during the season(Texans will have a top 10 defense, but that’s besides the point) 2. If memory serves me, CJ struggled early last camp as well, granted he was a rookie, but I wouldn’t look into this too much. If he’s still struggling right before the season I would begin to pay attention.
im legit scared Texans won't be able to meet eveyone crazy ass expectations. The glazing is too damn high! Preparing my body to be let down.
Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts have no business being where they are in that list, IMO. Hurts shouldn't even be in the top 10.
