Oh boy. It's going to be really fun when Erdogan's gone and is replaced by a president that actually works for Turkish interests instead of EU's. Erdogan is an islamist when he talks, and he's a western puppet when he acts. Turkey needs someone who'll acknowledge that EU is not an ally but an enemy, and act accordingly. Withdrawing from EU admission talks, and sending 5 million refugees to their new homes would be good first steps. Sending additional 1 million for every time EU arms PKK, or trying to lecture us about human rights and "European Values" would do the trick.

I think you make excuses for people you find sympathetic by holding their actions are a reflection of some sort of factors beyond their control and when it's someone you don't find sympathetic you abandon that nonsense. I think insulting people says a lot more about you then it does me, I don't think many find it an admirable quality in a person and everyone can see you regularly result to such a thing. Who said it was interesting? I just don't deny facts because they are inconvenient to my narrative. I also do not demonize people for posting facts. When people have to claim they are being oppressed because the other person is posting facts, those people have no argument worth listening to.
