"The lack of fathers" has nothing to do with women. It has to do with our criminal justice system. At has to do with austerity politics when it comes to welfare programs where conservative administrations create barriers to welfare programs for two parent households. Over-criminalization of low level drug crimes is a reason for single parent households. Women are not. "Though on crime" toxic masculinity is why there is so many fatherless homes.
Agreed - and this is the way to do it in modern politics. There is less to attack that way. Trump - Obama - Bush Jr. - Clinton - Kennedy - Eisenhower - Lincoln You can peddle a lot of hopes and dreams and positivity when you haven't been in Washington for many decades.... if you have charisma and the right message, you can be many different things to many different people when you are close to a blank slate.
Jesse Watters: "I heard the scientists say the other day that when a man votes for a woman, he actually transitions into a woman.”
When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. Maya Angelou I guess reversing course on her stances is politically savvy but will these changes stick?
Like calling Donald Trump Hitler than months later accepting the nomination to be his VP?? You are going to bash Kamala and call out her personally for adjusting her policy positions on something like her Medicare for all 2.0 proposal vs adjusting her position to now being more in line with growing the ACA market? Her “reversals” if you want to call them that are night and day from what we see in the party that you propagate for here constantly. I’d call you a hypocrite but I wouldn’t want to see like a flip flopper from when I previously called you one the more respected Trump supporters here we could actually have a conversation with respectfully. Come on man… you were better than this before but seem to be losing it.
The fact that it was his own family was a bit . . . .. . much I don't think he is wrong you could not have convinced me of that 2 weeks ago but now .. . . . Democrats are actually being effective and the Republicans seem to be making gaff after gaff What will 3 months bring? Unknown Rocket River
Her campaign is admitting the reversals. My question is whether she will stick to those. I fully expect her to win so I am curious as to which way her administration will go. If she is more progressive, she may be a one term prez like her two predecessors. If you want to call me a name, that's fine and par for the course in this sub.
Ultimately, I don't think she could govern as the progressive that Trump's campaign is painting her to be (and that I think her 3.5 years as VP doesn't set her up to be either) because there will not be a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. That means that reestablishing national abortion access is unlikely as are many of her 2020-era statements. A potential second Trump term could mean using executive power to constrict access to abortion pills, but a Harris administration likely wouldn't be able to expand access (see the USSC ruling in the Idaho case and subsequent reporting). What would be interesting is what happens if the border bill that Trump torpedoed is reintroduced while Harris is president. Does the GOP vote for it knowing that Trump would (God help us) never be their nominee again?
[ I'm sure there are a lot more factors than just getting along. It could be drugs, gangs, infidelity, poverty, or wanting to protect their kids from domestic abuse, sexual abuse, or anything else. Sure, premarital sex is a bad choice, especially if the baby daddy is a loser, abusive, a gang banger, druggy, or deadbeat. Marrying that guy just adds to the problem. But, regardless of that, nobody should stay in a marriage that is toxic. You say that black women are the biggest perpetrators of domestic violence, but whether that's true or not, they don't pose the biggest threat to killing their spouse. They also aren't the higher number of gang members or substance abuse users. It's an ugly cycle, but getting out of a toxic environment is often the best choice after making bad decisions to start with. The “Final Straw” Causing Divorce Is Most Commonly Infidelity, Domestic Violence or Substance Abuse https://www.forbes.com/advisor/legal/divorce/divorce-statistics/ Men are more likely than women to use almost all types of illicit drugs, and illicit drug use is more likely to result in emergency department visits or overdose deaths for men than for women. "Illicit" refers to use of illegal drugs, including mar1juana (according to federal law) and misuse of prescription drugs. https://nida.nih.gov/publications/r...women/sex-gender-differences-in-substance-use Black women are disproportionately more likely to die at the hands of an abuser. According to the Violence Policy Center, Black women were murdered by men at nearly three times the rate as White women. in 2018. https://www.verywellmind.com/domestic-violence-varies-by-ethnicity-62648
That is so absurd it's disgusting. You act like young girls, teens, and women grow up choosing prostitution as their choice in life. Read the cold hard facts about prostitution below, and stop spewing BS. Be better than that. https://www.dressember.org/blog/breaking-myths-prostitution-is-not-victimless
Lol, bruh... No one is scared of Kamala... Its over but if you want to waste your time in getting your hopes up then that's all you....
