Men are always held responsible. Some guys are in jail for unpaid child support -- some of those children aren't even theirs -- sometimes, the judge knows it. It's amazing paternity tests are not mandatory.

You said it, it's hard to get men to get paternity tests. Responsible? How many men pay child support or support their ex-wifes. They rely on the fact that lawyers are too expensive and thus can dictate the terms of what they give their kid. The burden of raising and financially supporting a child falls on the mother. You act like there is this magical force that forces men to be responsible - to show up for their kids, and to pay up or be sent to jail. Reality is most men fall far short of their responsibility, and most mothers go far over. Yes the very men who are crappy fathers and shirk responsibilities are the one who cry about women having choice.
