Jon Singleton simply can't be the first baseman moving forward. There must be some other plan or one needs to be created quickly. You can't have Martin Maldonado level offense out of your first baseman.
I wonder if Tucker can come back and play 1b? He played a little a few years ago. (a la Bryce Harper) Of course that only matters if Singleton is not one of the 9 best hitters on the roster - which at the moment he is.
The game last week where we came from behind against the Dodgers seems like so long ago now. What we have been seeing lately is really bad baseball. Pitchers and hitters regressing . Manager back to looking like a rookie again making bad decisions. When they play like this it is hard to watch at times.
I couldn’t imagine tucker fielding ground balls. also I think I remember that they tried it in the minors and it was a disaster.
Yeah... it's very disappointing. Astros are about to be 5-8 in their last 13 games. But there's hope -- only 1 game behind 1st place, and perhaps the rotation has an reinforcement. Maybe Tucker's leg reappears too.
In case anyone watching is a Houston Cougar basketball fan their alumni group aka Forever Coogs is on FS2 on their way to the TBT tournament semi finals. They are thrashings a group from Colorado by 19 at the end of the 3rd quarter. If they win tonight and win their game Fri night they play Sunday at 2 pm for the championship. And a million dollars. At the moment a less frustrating form of entertainment.
