The White Sox have to have the laziest players in baseball.......

    Jimenez, Robert, Rodon and Moncada.....

Those are all HOF talents and they are all huge Jakes.

You can add that shortstop Anderson to the list too ---- guy supposedly never worked out or worked in the cage and now is washed before 30.

Was about to post the exact same thing... now I'm making sure this browser isn't bugged.

But just to echo, no contending team has two players of that quality expected to come back and contribute before the season is over.

Hell, they should claim Tucker has a half year less of service time and miles on his body getting to rest up...I do believe he was fatigued at the end of last year, hence his end of season and post-season decline.

JV can only get better with rest presuming everything structurally sound.

The #1 new roster construction rule going forward:

Every pitcher on your AAA roster should be someone you feel comfortable calling up to throw >3 quality innings on no notice. No exceptions.

    for who though?

I would never want to go all-in on a trade with the Rays...

    Why?

We were pitching with 4 MLB starters, holes don't get anymore gaping than that hence the gross overpay. There aren't any offensive options that leave that much room for improvement, so no need to overpay. None of our offensive positions are "that" bad.

We get healthy we'll be good, we don't adding a decent bat won't change that.

Snell and Crochet aren't likely going anywhere.

Flaherty likely ends up in NY, ATL, LA or SD

Good for him and the White Sox for completely tanking that whole situation.

    They deserve each other.

(****... just realized the Astros still have a series against them... and he'll probably pitch).

It makes me angry when MLB teams are dumb. There is no way that the right decision was to hold onto snell or Crochet for either of those teams. Makes me mad like the Padres holding onto Snell and Hader last year at the deadline because illogic anywhere in the world bothers me.

I have mixed feelings. They gave up a lot yesterday to get not a whole lot better. It does make yesterday even worse, but at the same time I'd hate to see Dana Brown get railed again. As things stand, they are a better team now, but probably not good enough. I'm not sure that was worth the cost.
