    On the bright side, if we can make it through the inning with the lead we have Abreu/Pressly/Hader all rested and available…

    Since Espada didn’t use them in a game we were losing yesterday where everyone cried about.

    That's just a misperception on people's parts. And probably a recency bias built in here. He's one of our most consistent hitters, a lot like Tucker in that regard.

    You can only play the game that's in front of you. It was stupid, especially given what happened the night before, to not put your best option in the 8th and 9th innings.

    And if we had lost they wouldn’t be available tonight. You don’t waste leverage guys down runs. It was stupid as hell when he was using Pressly and Hader down runs earlier this season.
