I see a lot of people here get very upset when certain things happen in the world. Like, people get really angry AT Israel, but when Israeli children get murdered, the same people are quiet. Similarly, if a Christian conservative does or says something that could be seen as "anti-LGBTQIA", people get VERY angry. But when an Islamist dictatorship says or does something objectively much worse, the same people are very quiet. Again, here, it's clear as day, as you rightly say, that a leftist dictator is committing election fraud. The same people who are very quiet in the previous two examples are very quiet here as well.
If Putin aligns with Iran and North Korea against Western Worlds countries, which side will you be on?
Trump is tougher on Iran than the Biden admin. Trump engaged with Kim Jong-Un (in a really weird way) not because he actually likes the guy, but "keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer". Same with Putin. Trump knows Putin is a corrupt, ruthless murderer and Stalinist. As Putin said, Biden is totally predictable for him. Trump, not so much. I'm not saying Trump is some kind of genius. But his administration's foreign policies were miles better than the Biden admin's. Again, the difference between saying the right thing (Biden) and doing the thing that leads to the right results (Trump).
Trump is a puppet easily manipulated by guys like Putin and Kim Jong Un. If you think an ex KGB officer can't manipulate a dumbass like Trump I'd say you are naive. Putin wants to align with Iran and Trump wants to please Putin. Never underestimate how greed and power will drive Trump to doing the unthinkable. His loyalty to this country's Democracy is very sketchy. He's certainly more loyal to Putin than he is to our own President.
That's because Israel is seen as a democracy, and outrage directed at it is perceived as potentially impactful. People often focus their outrage on issues where they believe their actions can make a difference. This practical response helps them cope with feelings of powerlessness regarding larger, more complex problems. This explains why certain outrages become prominent, though social media often presents a narrow view of public sentiment. When people protest against governments that seem responsive—like democratic nations—they do so with the hope that their voices can lead to change. In contrast, it often feels futile to direct outrage at dictatorial regimes, where the chances of making a difference are slim. Unless there's a call for significant action like war, outrage against such regimes may seem like a waste of energy. This might explain the lack of "mass" outrage over issues like China's treatment of its Muslim minority, Iran's repression, or Putin's aggression. When people stop expressing outrage, it signals that the designated target is unlikely to respond to public outrage from afar. So, what can be done? Democratic nations and international bodies often voice their concerns through diplomatic and economic channels. They may impose sanctions or apply pressure in various ways to address these injustices. Demanding public outrage for its own sake is unlikely to achieve much against dictatorial or extremist regimes. When like 9/11 occurs, we take concrete actions. Public outrage is silly against al-Qaeda, as they are not responsive to such expressions. Instead, the response involves strategic actions and measures that address the threat directly (unfortunately, Bush did a terrible job at it).
In perfect form, a Trump slobber sees a dictator refusing to leave....and aligns that with Harris and not the guy who has literally already tried to do it.
You and a few other posters have suggested that the 2020 U.S. election is comparable to what just happened over there. You're essentially implying that the U.S. is already a dictatorship. It's just weird. Extreme MAGA supporters who fully bought into Trump's lies explain this behavior, but you? It’s just weird.
Some of you guys spend way too much time on twitter. Every damn tweet is exaggerated. My hope is that you don't live your actual life this way and are constantly on the edge due to our impending doom.
MAGA supporters saying the 2020 election was not legit is scarier to me as an American. I think most people who believe in Democracy are against leaders who gain power by corruption. I have no doubt Trump is more like those types. He's rotten to the core. Never trust a pathological liar who scoffs at the laws of our country. Dictators are self-serving d*cks. Trump fits the mold.
You're smart enough to know 2020 wasn't rigged. At a bare minimum, believing it was somehow forces one to also believe that the sitting president of the US was the victim! He sat atop the system he claims was rigged! It's absolutely insane. His own lawyers said in front of judges, the one place in America where there are still penalties for lying, that they had no evidence of fraud! Everything else is just noise and each denial from the traitorous Trumpers amounts to "nuh-uh".
He brings his German right wing ideals here, and is hellbent on how he wants Americans to be, instead of just moving to a country that thinks like him.
