I kinda wished JD Vance debated Harris. That would be embarrassing for the GOP some how even more than a Trump Harris debate.
I'm more concerned with the fact that Trump never speaks the truth, and gives the vibe of hating America, Democracy, and all it stands for. He spews nothing but doom and gloom and negativity about this country and our own leaders. He's a toxic, self-serving con just trying to stir up anti-government extremists, right wing extremists, and hate groups against in our own country. He'd love nothing more than to incite another coup if he loses, so he can take over and make us a version of the worst of the worst types of governments. When his idols are ruthless Dictator/Authoritarian types who can't be trusted it's my biggest concern.
Israel will be fine. They need to quickly finish up the war and elect new leadership. No one likes Bibi. Ukraine is not going to be fine with Trump and Vance.
The only people intending genocide - and who carried out their intent on October 7th - are your Islamist friends.
I doubt Harris’ Israel policy will be much different from Biden’s. While Biden has been critical of Netanyahu his administration has continued to provide aid and diplomatic support to Israel.
Obama/Biden propped up Iran. Without that, the whole mess would not have escalated the way it has. Whether the motivation for their strengthening of Islamists and anti-Israel policies is intrinsic or just willful ignorance, I don't know, but the end result is bad. And antisemitism runs rampant in the left wing of the Democratic Party. I truly don't understand how anyone who is Jewish can still vote for them.
And the Biden admin. Has given more military aid to Israel than probably any Administration in one term. Look beyond the rhetoric or tweets. The actual record of the Biden Harris Admin hasn’t been anti-Israel.
I think Biden (in his lucid moments) is the least anti-Israel guy in that Admin. Harris and the other ones who are running the government are much more anti-Israel than Biden. So this does not bode well for the future.
Nope.. How much people HATE Trump... This is the same that people did with Hillary C.... I've stated this many many times.. Trump won because more people hated Hillary than him... Now the shoe is on the other foot. More people hate him than they do Harris. Trump and the republicans are not bringing anything to the table as far as policies, rules, etc... All they are doing is trying to dig up dirt and name calling like middle school kids... T_Man
Two VP picking philosophies: Obama picking Biden - younger, less experienced man picking a older more experienced man ... to help him get **** done in DC Reagan picking Bush - reverse ... picking your successor Kamala could pick Tim Walz (60 yo) Andy Beshear (46 yo) or Mayor Pete (42 yo) If Kamala loses in 2024 or decides that one term is enough, the D bench for 2028 could be Gavin Newsome Andy Beshear Mayor Pete The Gretch Josh Shapiro which is very deep. Each of the above could resume build with cabinet positions (if Kamala wins and they are not the VP).
Kamala needs to select a VP who portrays competence. You cannot have two DEI candidates on ticket. Because DEI hires accustomed to being carried by their co-workers are not in a position to be teamed up together. Nothing would get done and incompetence would rule the day. Just look at how Kamala handled her Border Czar role. Complete and utter incompetence on a historical level.
Not my fight but he makes solid points. Nobody is desperate for your attention. You spend your entire day posting on the internet
Putin advancing on Ukraine and taking it has much more negative implications for the rest of the world, including the US. No one wants that war to spread further and involve more European states. Israel has been in this struggle for decades, and its implications for the world are well-established. Regardless of who is POTUS (as long as there is a democracy), Israel will be supported in defending itself. The shift in policy is generally about the extent of support, not whether it will be provided. No administration will withhold support for Israel’s right to defend itself, though some, including Reagan (who withheld weapon deliveries to Israel), may not support Israel if it is overly aggressive. This stance is unlikely to change with any future President. There is very little doubt about who will win the Israel-Hamas war. The question is what to do after that. This question has not been answered in 50 years and is unlikely to be resolved in the next decade either, unless there is a major breakthrough between the two sides engaged in nearly half a century of violence. Other nations can only push at the edges—no matter how important we think we are, we have very little ability to change that. It primarily comes down to Israel and Palestine, then the regional Gulf states, and finally the US and Europe. The grand bargain—Saudi Arabia normalizing relations with Israel—could be an exception, but we'll see. In the meantime, we have NATO, which Trump told Putin he could attack without concern, and Ukraine’s survival may depend on whether the US will support it. Trump and Vance have been pretty clear that they won’t. The weakened NATO coalition with an aggressive Putin is much more worrisome and concerning than the nearly half-century of conflict between Israel and Palestine.
