No way, man. If we gave Tari 32 shots a game, he'd be a 45 ppg scorer. Wth is wrong with this organization?!
A ton of the greats have played in the Drew League. James Harden, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Paul Pierce, and Paul George to name a few. It's a nice warm-up run. Tari was a beast in the Drew League a couple of years ago also.
Retired players, ex players etc... and current players. Tons of AAU type of players, amateurs and laymen, why those big scores. Kinda like the Big 3 but with 5 players.
See the problem started day 1 for you with this assumption. It was 100% guaranteed that a teenage SG with no college experience and never played in front of a pro crowd is going to be inefficient even if he took 12 shots per game. That was always part of the package. We picked the youngest skinniest guy with the least fundamentals and training. So by this assumption you’ve made it’s no wonder you were fed up by year 3. In a STRONG development program, I would have expected him to come into his own in year 3 like Kobe. But since we developed him with no accountability in literally one of the worst cultures in NBA history, it’s taking a little longer. Looks like it took around 2.6 years instead of 2 years.
but its been three years though 33% season avg from the 3 every year no year to year improvement what so ever
Sengun was developed in this same environment and has improved every year while we are told that he is lazy in the offseason. Something isn’t adding up.
You trying to find creative ways to make Sengun a victim. Never once heard anyone complain about his work ethic.
The post you quoted is a response to exactly what you’re saying. I don’t have anything more to add, you can just read it. I don’t see any reason why he would improve year to year exactly like players who are in good development programs unless culture and development don’t matter at all.
No idea, but I've asked myself why every thread on here eventually looks the same. I think it's because of all 37 of our franchise players combined with people dumping all of Twitter into threads. Half the time I don't even know what thread I'm in. lol. Well, I do tend to avoid Sengun and Jalen threads when I can.
