If the US team plays the LeBron system during the tournament... They would still win it because their talent is many levels beyond any other team, but that's a pathetic way of playing basketball when you have the most talented team in the world. It proves that many of these players don't know how to play. Even LeBron's big-brain self doesn't know how to play if it's not his way. This way of playing levels the playing field because it marginalizes two to four players every time they go down the court, and they end up playing lazy defense and lacking hustle. Which is why we've seen a few close games. Root for Team USA, bet on Team USA, but I hope they don't go the way of Portugal with Ronaldo.

 

Alright... so all these Lebron fans arguing that Dream Team didn't have to face NBA talent... the Cold War just ended... the Eastern bloc had their own leagues in which the likes of Sabonis and Petrovic were around. And keep in mind the Soviets gave the Americans a run for their money in the 80s...

 

Is Boggy definitely playing tomorrow? Without him, Team USA will definitely beat Serbia. If he plays, I expect it to go down to the wire.

 

Everyone of those guys are "the system" on their respective NBA teams. So there are 5 systems on the floor at any time.
