Both sides? One side tried a coup on January 6th. The other not so much. BTW, after Trump won in 2016 there was a concerted effort by the left to understand the MAGA voters. After Biden won in 2020, the right were screaming about a stolen election, followed by a half assed attempt at a coup.
I think Trump's just referring to the fact that this would be his second and therefore final presidential term if he wins. So it would be the last time these people would be voting for him. Also, when he says everthing would be fixed, I think he means that the economy and the country would get fixed during his term. I don't think he's talking about fixing the election. I know he's off-handedly said questionable things about dictatorships before, but this doesn't seem like one of those instances, IMO.
Exactly this. If anything, it's more telling in that it shows that he has no cares at all, as far as what happens to the country long-term, as in, what happens after his second term would end. He doesn't care if anyone votes anymore, after that. Which is still not something I want in a President.

No you're just being disingenuous At the 40M mark you referenced, he is talking about people going out to vote because those voting blocs are very large, important, and have power. At the 1:03 mark he references it again, then saying they won't have to vote again because the problems would be fixed. He was not saying "I'm going to be a dictator". But this word game and "oh that was implied" will be played all election season with whatever kamala or trump says. you will be quick to defend kamala I'm sure.
