whenever republicans bring up black people as if they actually care, it never lands and just falls on deaf ears because it’s apparent that the republican party hates and despises black people

they spew racist rhetoric 24/7, and the party is a safe haven for Nazis and white supremacists

this is the guy they had as the main speaker for the republican convention…the guy who got caught saying this on tape

I have a few family members that are very religious and very anti-abortion…if the republican party wasn’t so racist, they’d vote republican based off that sole issue alone

Harris opens up early edge with young voters

The survey — fielded entirely after Biden stepped aside on Sunday — asked respondents which candidate they'd support in Biden-Trump and Harris-Trump matchups.

In a Biden-Trump race, the split among 18- to 34-year-olds was 53% for Biden and 47% for Trump, giving Biden a 6-point lead.
But in a Harris-Trump contest, the same respondents split 60% for Harris and 40% for Trump — a 20-point lead for Harris.
45% of young people say they have an extremely or somewhat favorable opinion of Harris.

33% say the same for Biden, along with 34% for Trump.
Zoom in: Gen Z and millennial voters were key to Biden's 2020 victory, turning out in huge numbers and favoring him by 20 points in 2020, per a Pew Research Center analysis.

Young voters will be a key component of Harris' path to the presidency as well.

I'm not mad at the office with mostly ceremonial power especially when the critiques are disingenuous

Every 'new' voter I know, from younger Gen Z to new citizens, are voting Harris (Dem). To Gen Z, Trump is the filtered, concentrated essence of all negative Boomer stereotypes.

For the record, this is inappropriate slut shaming.

Project might 2025 need to include removing/revoking the 19A. The SCOTUS is searching now for some rando reason that the plain text of the 19A does not say what the plain text of the 19A says.

Wasn't trying to be snarky. Just pointing out that your sources were wrong as usual. :)

As much as I thought Kelly would be the front runner/best choice for the VP pick, now I'm thinking they'll go with someone younger.

I think they're really trying to ride that "Not going back" wave and that message hits different if someone like a Beshear is saying it vs Kelly.

Lots of people, with lots of different views, are hungry to move on from the Gerontocracy. Too much screen time for shriveled up Turtle, wrinkled Pelosi, corpse-like Biden, and saggy, angry Trump too. When people my age are hungry for younger options, that's got to tell you something.
