Biden and Trump are both so unpopular that I really feel like the first party to swap candidates would win. Trump was going to win pretty easily. At least comfortably. I did not believe the hype that he was going to get more than 10% of the black vote or flip generally blue states but he was going to win 2-3 of those rust belt states and win back GA and that would have been enough. Now...I'm fairly sure Kamala is going to win this election. The polls showing the bump in young voter enthusiasm and that Trump is now again bleeding black vote, women vote...its not a good sign for him...the youth and black turnout has always been a bellwether for modern democrats and the polls on that so far have been night and day difference. But again, Trump and Biden are both so unpopular and I think the GOP is going to learn that lesson. I think this is just the start of Kamala's momentum because Trump can't help himself, he's going to get nastier and nastier the closer this race is and JD Vance was such a terrible pick because he reminds people of project 2025 with the things he says...like this odd bit about parents being able to vote for their kids. If this had been Haley vs Biden, she'd also wipe the floor with him and to be honest I think she'd very comfortably beat Harris. But the rising popularity of Kamala tracks with what many people have been saying all year long. "ANYONE but Biden OR Trump." Barring some surprise skeletons coming out of her closet I think by voting time the polls are going to strongly favor Kamala, already trending in that direction, because all she has to do is remind the people that hate Trump to get out and vote
