Everybody's into what they're into, and I have no problem with bitcoin people being upset with Kamala, but that threat from Winklevoss falls flat. zOMG! "The Bitcoin Industry" won't forget! I'm sure she's going to be begging the Bitcoin Industry for mercy! Bitcoin has enough entrenched old money interests aligned against them that annoying bitcoin is probably a net positive. As a group they are already pretty much ideologically aligned against her and they are super small/niche. If you're going to threaten someone with consequences, at least have some consequences you can bring. Dial it back a bit, Winklevoss. You're not The Teamsters or Big Oil or something that people actually fear politically. She's got bigger fish to fry at the moment, instead of trying to pander to niche industries that already don't like her. It's just triage. Courting bitcoin would be high effort/low payoff when there is lower hanging fruit for the taking.
