FIVE of the Rangers last 6 wins have come by one run, the other was by 2. TWO of those (1-run) were against the lowly White Sox. One of those 1-runners (vs Astros) was greatly aided by a terrible call even with replay. Dubon was safe and the Astros were rallying. Rangers last 4 losses, they've been pounded by a -20 run-diff. Don't get me wrong, victories matter whether it's by 1 run or 10, but let's not pretend Arluckton is suddenly a juggernaut on a rampage ready to explode on the division. Today, Astros have an actual MLB pitcher starting the game (something they didn't have the first 2 games this series). Score some runs. Avoid the sweep
Can't sacrifice 2 of every 5 games with Arrighetti and Bloss... especially if the remaining 3 aren't Maddux-Glavine-Smoltz reincarnated.
True (I'd say SL though) but it's not his fault. He has no business being up here in the first place.
Still waiting for Justin Verlander, Lance McCullers Jr., Luis Garcia to get in the Rotation. Out of the Rotation and maybe Long Relievers Or get starts in AAA Spencer Arrighetti Jake Bloss Kendall Graveman returns for a middle relief role. Ronel Blanco really carried the Team. Hunter Brown after a bad First Month turned into a Dominant Pitcher. Framber Valdez is turning a corner, returning to form. Verlander, McCullers, Garcia will boost the Rotation.
Interesting, an actual SI article that doesn't propose a stupid trade that will never happen and most likely was never even discussed.
