I've been a fan of Houston and Minnesota sports too long to get overconfident about anything. I think Harris gives the Democrats a much better chance of winning but I don't think this is guaranteed. Trump still has a solid core base of support and has the Republican establishment and probably 90% of the party united behind him. That gets him at least 40% of the vote that no matter who the Democrats run won't change. I think it's a factor but I'm less worried about Harris coming into the race late. I think the DNC and all of the current coverage is getting her name out. Also not being as well known might not be a negative. I look at this like the Stros winning the AL West this year. Things looked promising, then they looked very bad, now it looks like things are going in the right direction but there is always the danger of bats going cold and pitchers not being able to find the strike zone.
I saw a recent study that said the average is 5.5 weeks, and 33% find out later than 6 wks…insane that they think this law will fly
this is the biggest factor IMO…she is young, energetic, and can communicate effectively whereas Biden looked like a corpse at times struggling just to get a sentence out all the talk was about how old and in decline Biden looked, but now Trump is the old one in cognitive decline, and the focus is now back on the extreme republican positions and policies if u even want to call whatever they do actual policy
I just got back from Home Depot, was looking for a pruning blade since I'm still working on an uprooted tree..... I was in line to pay and the person in front of me had the Kamala rally playing on their phone. Immediately on of the people that works there asked them what they were watching and the person told them it was Kamala and that she was destroying Trump. The Home Depot employee asked them if they could play her speech on the intercom, the person handed the phone over and the entire store stopped what they were doing. No one moved until Kamala ended her speech and when she was done everyone was cheering. I paid for my stuff right quick and left in a hurry but I could still hear them cheering behind me as I made my way to the car.....
I actually don't know any of the policies Trump wants to enact, for the most part. I need to look more into Project 2025. I say that in jest, a bit, but more in the sense that his healthcare policy is a microcosm of his campaign as a whole.
This has been a pretty consistent line of attack I've seen from Conservatives since Sunday and I've found it really funny because you're really missing the mark thinking that line of attack has any juice. No one who voted for Joe in the primary wasn't prepared for Kamala to potentially be president
