Ironically this is a empathy issue.

Cops have empathy for people who look like them, have the same ideology as them etc. Cops protect other cops. That empathy is extremely limited in scope to a extended extent.

His peers probably thing the job is so stressful and that there is this "think blue line" where something like a DUI fuuckup is justified because of their stress

The non-camera cop escalated things when they didn't need to be escalated. That was stupid. So many cops ****ing suck at this and put their pride before the well-being of those they are meant to serve.

I don't think the dude who fired the shots should be a cop anymore, to say the least. Cops who don't turn their cameras on should be looked at with extreme suspicion and punished harshly for that.

I am so tired of seeing these types of stories, this is why blanket immunity is such a BAD idea........................I am sure there are good cops out there, I just never seem to see them, the encounters I have had are the ones are with steroid induced rednecks who think the badge makes them GOD

 

He’s a freaking racebaiter that’s why. Election time must be right around the corner. That POS cop no doubt is a murderer. He killed that black woman in cold blood. I want the book to be thrown at him including the death penalty, a life for a life. However; racebaiters often take advantage of tragic deaths like these to encourage further hatred, violence and riots. We have seen this movie before, unless we come together and and find real solutions, this kind of problem will never go away.
