It takes time to cultivate and reinforce a narrative. They had 2+ years on Biden's old age and corruption through his son. They had 15+ years on Clinton. They do have some materials on Harris, but limited. 3.5 months is not likely enough time to form a new impactful narrative. But I'm quite sure attempts will be made to see what sticks (at risk of backfiring). There is also the 'I can't help myself' factor. With this race now in chaos mode, that is going to occur more often. Tying her to Biden's negatives makes the most sense but those also can readily be defended as a VP. I think the RNC is more likely going to be in the 'I can't help myself' phase than being more disciplined.

Here's the thing. Not every Republican is like these racist a-holes. But they are all okay with them being part of the party and the party trying to appeal to those folks. A real leader would stand up and say those people aren't welcome and their support isn't wanted.

While Dems are donating to Kamala in record numbers, Repubs are melting down on social media. This tells me that the Dems have made the right decision for the election. Kamala has reenergized the base and independents who said they disliked both candidates and complained about both being so old, well now there is an obvious choice. Republicans have spent the last 3 years building up a campaign against Biden. They have nothing on Harris, so expect them to double down on her being black and a woman. That's literally all they have. Racist and sexist is what the Republicans will be.
