I can't wait for the GOP media apparatus understanding they have to appeal to regular voters and not primary voters and trying REALLY hard not to attack her because she's a woman or black(DEI!!!!!) or attack her saying she slept her way into her career. I'm not sure it's in their nature to restrain those talking points. That would have to be some serious self control on their part.

If you are a dude into geek culture, gaming etc and only hang around with other dudes and meet many of your friends through things like online gaming, id imagine Harris would seem like the most unlikable person ever in a political office. Trump has no self control, and other than kissing or hugging Ivanka there is nothing he loves more than spewing nasty remarks about a black woman. The far right white supremacists will have a field day with their racist remarks. The male cheauvanist hate groups like Proud Boys, or guys like Fuentes and Trump will attack her like the rabid pigs they are. None of it will be a shock. She might not have a cult following like the orange man, but she's smarter, not a compulsive liar, not a felon, not a grifting con, not someone who idolizes dictators and authoritarians, not one wanting to strip women's right to choose, not Anti-LGBQT, and not one who calls cop beating members of hate groups heroes and patriots.
Compared to who? Harris has the benefit of being the incumbent VP where the election war chest will directly go to her. The logistics are far more practical. Her mid charisma is not enough of a concern to ignore hr practicality. There is no Obama level charismatic person waiting at the wings that is that much more charismatic than her to offset the logistical hurdles of having an entirely new ticket.
