Taller Trae with worse decision making/shooting is about right for Jalen. So many signs point to him being a high leverage 6th man. Can come in and win you a game if you need some instant offense. Dillon is similar defensively. When he's locked in, he's great. But when you get bad Dillon....man do you get bad Dillon.
I don't think anyone on the planet would chose Reggie over MJ which is why that comparison is so ludicrous.
That's a terrible contract. I get they have to do it if they want to keep him in Cleveland but they'll certainly regret it.
Poole has regressed massively and is maybe the worst player in the league now but 3rd year poole blows away 3rd year jalen
We literally saw these two go head to head for two games, and the gap in their level of play is night and day. And I'm not even including the def esive side of the ball where Green laps Poole. Hypothetically I really wonder if Poole would even get 20 minutes of playing time under a Ime coached team.
Poole got on a roster more akin to what Jalen experienced his first two years and no longer had the Warriors offensive spacing and movement system to help with his efficiency.
as 3pt chuckers they're pretty close https://www.nba.com/stats/players/t...pe=Regular Season&TeamID=0&dir=D&sort=FG3_PCT
as 3 pt chuckers 3rd yr jalen is closest to regressed poole https://www.nba.com/stats/players/t...pe=Regular Season&TeamID=0&dir=D&sort=FG3_PCT
Isn't Trae like a best case outcome for Jalen? Would you trade FVV and Jalen for Trae, given they'd have similar contracts with the max extension?
Udoka has to yet figure out the instant Offense part and he is still pretty inconsistent against real good defensive top teams.

What do you think Poole's efficiency numbers would look like his first two years if he was drafted to the Rockets instead of the Warriors? Also how many minutes per game do you think Poole could get under a Ime coached team?
Infidels and apostates will say the 47th season leap is not real, his holiness Jalen will prove them all wrong.
Ime is the best thing that could happen to Jalen's career. Your ability to read and understand the intent of what was posted is lacking. Is it some illiteracy issue?
I will never understand identity fandom, to where you are from a country or region and defend players at all costs...... It happened with Yao, it happened with Lin and you see it here with Jalen and his Filipino heritage...... Maybe folks feel closer because of that, but it seems to stop people from being honest about a player......either way, Jalen is in an important year - and as a ROCKET fan - I want him to do well, but he is on a short leash, I have seen enough in his 4 years as a pro to make me think he will never be GREAT, but could be above Average to good...... Unfortunately we can't pay him what he is going to want, so whether we like it or not his being a Rocket will be completely defined by his contractual expectations - and IMHO, he will be traded because we can't wait any longer, and we won't pay him what he expects or wants....so I expect him traded during the season. DD
If Jalen starts off well, please do not hop on the Jalen train. I don't want him to fail. Don't put that evil on him.
