Can't get anyone on base for Julio. He's been dissapointing this season but he's their spark on offense. Hunter Brown did good by pitching around him yesterday with men on base.
This just feels like a loss already. If we lose this game we'll lose the series. I'll hang up the phone and just listen for the answer
This does not surprise me. Jake is inconsistent and between slightly below average to slightly above average month to month and week to week. He is the OF version of Pena. But even when he isn't hitting, he can still be a valuable player in the starting lineup because of his fielding and baserunning value. As long as they have better production from 1b and LF which should be offense first positions.
And bullpen advantage goes to us! “Let the defense dictate the offense” - wise words from a C. Murphy.
Sure. But who has been better? Which CF on the roster has hit enough better than him to offset the reduced defense?
Astro's record in close games is not good. Personally, I think this on the Manager. When it is "tight," every move has to be "right."
Ok 1 run is still doable but time is running out. Don't they have a few good relief pitchers(I think 1 is their closer) but not sure if both are available. Maybe Stanek comes in and does us a solid lol.
