Agreed Chas has sucked against Kirby but Chas has also become the odd man out. I think his starts will be sparse from here out unless he gets blistering hot. Espada has moved on. I feel like he should’ve been given more than 170 sporadic plate appearances to get it together, especially since he missed time. Oh well. Maybe Cabbage can do some damage. Hopefully Jake gets hot again. Tucker will be needed eventually. Hope he is back in the next 2-3 weeks.

Remember how terrible he was as a player? Man he was a joke! He didn’t even care about computers.

Has Chas done anything truly memorable at the plate since the 2 HR game?

At least Jake, Joey and Cabbage can point to some XBH’s/HR’s in their starts.

espada has been consistent all year in that he will play the hot bat and sit the cold bats (unless management makes him play a certain 1B that should have been dfa’d sooner).

I do expect to see him against lefties. If he can’t get going against them, what reason should he deserve more appearances?

Only that the only OF to ever do what Chas has done is Tucker. The other’s haven’t come close to Chas’ production and it was as recent as last season. Cabbage is a career minor leaguer. However, like I said, hopefully he can get hot and help the team. I dont’t think Chas forgot how to play baseball. How many at bats since the 2 homer game? I know he made a great catch, had a hit and stole 2 bases in a game since then. Hard to get in a rhythm with sporadic at bats and always batting 9th and getting pulled for PH in the 7th or 8th.

Framber gave no ****s about the runner at 1B....who is now at 2B

You'd think a LHP who throws a billion ground balls might try and keep a runner at 1B? Or not.
