The next tier IQ is: Jabari Smith Jr Tari Eason Cam Whitmore Finally: Jalen Green The Rockets are SO DAMN LUCKY to get to choose between that much young talent to build around. I want you to elaborate on why Tari Eason and Cam are higher "IQ" than Green? One averaged more turnovers than assists and the other is a high motor headless chicken who is a mad man that gets after things like lose balls, passing lanes etc. A modern Corey Brewer. When has "high IQ" ever been part of what makes them hyped or good? Jabari Smith also... It seems like with guys like Cam, Tari etc it's bigotry of low expectations when you say they have higher IQ than Green. Green has more advanced roles and therefore has higher burdens and has to do more complex things than those guys and therefore the scrutiny is on him while guys like Cam and Tari can excel in very limited roles as role players not asked to do things like create on offense.
Completely agreed. 3 high IQ guys and their games all compliment one another; perfect combination. I still have a lot of faith that at least 2 of Tari, Cam and Jabari can become great 3 and D pieces to fill out the starting 5 too.
