    To be eligible for Vice President, you have to be eligible to be President. As Obama is term limited, that rules him out.

    Not exactly as the text of the 22nd Amendment is “no person shall be elected to office of President who has served two terms..”

    Based on that Obama could VP and even serve as President in the event the President was incapacitated. He just couldn’t run for reelection.
