    If the Dems are gonna eat **** this November they might as well put Kamala at the top of the ticket so she can fall on the sword and we can be spared her continued career.

    Quite possible. I'd also say that it might prevent the successor from taking heat and making gaffes for longer. Gives the opposition less time to come up with the attack campaign.

    Yeah, it's just like a college football coach. You have to keep saying "the right thing" b/c you're recruiting and you might just stay. Also, waffling hurts your successor and their recruiting in that case.

    Have to say, this is probably the only damned way the Dems could even temporarily get a little media attention away from TrumpTrumpTrump (TM).

    Pelosi is now the fourth major Democrat party leader to share their growing distress over Biden’s chances of winning in the wake of his disastrous debate against Trump.
