Ah man, it was probably good I wasn't aware of this thread. A very quick scan through this thread and... wild conspiracies posted by the same folks. Social media has rewired brains.
Seems logical. It didn't look politically motivated once details started coming out. He wanted to do some damage and Trump's event seemed to be in his path.We still have to wait for all the details There is a heavy randomness in this case which gives strength to the conspiracy theories and makes it a headache for SS and other agencies. Also a depressed kid doen't explain lapses in handling of the situation. The reaction of authorities since they had eyes on him will need to be heavily scrutinized. At this point I will be surprise if there isn't someone sacked for this failure !!
We'll probably never know for sure, but it sounds like the shooter was looking to kill any politician with a high profile. Trump's event just happened to be the one he chose. That is some truly severe depression. ------------------------ But in the aftermath, when the F.B.I. was able to finally access Mr. Crooks’s cellphones and other electronic devices, agents could see that he had searched for images of Mr. Trump as well as President Biden, Attorney General Merrick B. Garland and even F.B.I. Director Christopher A. Wray. Mr. Crooks also had at typed in “major depressive disorder” and searched for dates and places for appearances for both Mr. Biden and Mr. Trump. One of Mr. Trump’s planned appearances happened to be about 50 miles from Mr. Crooks’s house in Bethel Park, Pa.
a three hour riot that was incited by the president who is now the nominee from his party to run again. pre-trump nobody would have ever thought that would happen. just shows how much control trump has over such a large swath of the country. its a cult.
having the kind of turn-over that trump had in his administration is whats pathetic. burning through 5 secretaries of anything in 4 years says more about the person who hired them than it does the secretaries. when trump came into office in 2017 he bragged about how he only hired the best, then ended up probably having more turn-over in his administration than any other president. he apparently didnt hire the best which makes him both a liar and a poor executive.
Those are not affirmative steps toward killing anyone. I have seen a lot of murders, attempted murders, and conspiracy to commit murders. I would never charge a homicide, attempted homicide, or conspiracy to commit homicide case or take it to trial with the evidence surrounding January 6th. Neither would the Justice Department, as you can tell by the fact that they haven't done so. There is not nearly enough evidence to support a claim that anyone there that day was trying to, planning to, or intending to kill anyone (except Lt. Byrd, who clearly intended to kill Ashli Babbit and succeeded in doing so).
they just keep on, keeping on. it's now the rino bush family who are behind the trump assassination attempt.
Don’t argue with a fool. They have nothing but their sacred golden calf aka Jan 6th. Pretty pathetic if you’d ask me.
This definitely seems like he was looking to kill any high profile politician and Trump Happened to be the one that was convenient.
It appears fishy but, if I'm going to order a hit on the president it's not going to be from the kid who failed to make the rifle shooting team at high school. I'm getting the dude who picked that kid off from the other building. Maybe I'm playing checkers, and they are playing 3D chess.
I've had conversations with fchowd in the past where he straight up disregarded the minority point of view because it didn't follow the liberal narrative. I've encountered this with more than just him. I used to consider myself very liberal but then moved to a liberal city in a liberal state and experienced the most racism I ever had in my life. That's what started changing my view on things and how I "broke out" of my simple way of thinking (my side good 100%, that side bad 100%). It appears several still have not grown out of that mindset Kudos to you on working your way up. Hopefully you inspire your employees.
I'm not asking you or anyone to charge anything. I'm simply saying that while we don't know for certain, it is far from unfounded based on statements by the participants and witnesses.
What happened makes no sense. If you're Secret Service and you don't like the look of someone, you remove him from the grounds. If that someone was never a threat, sorry you didn't get to see the former President speak, but your self-awareness sucks. If that person is John David Stutts, you prevented an assassination attempt.
Lee Harvey Oswald fit the same description. The poor shooting capabilities and loner-status provide plausible deniability to the agencies... It's probably also hard to find someone who is crazy enough to do it AND has the determination and discipline to become a good shooter. So you are left with imperfect choices if you are directing a hit like this.
