Vance has a reputation as one of the most far-right extremists in Washington, endorsing a January 6 rally member for Congress and calling Marjorie Taylor Greene, the crazy far right hate pushing radical extremist a friend. He was also the favored pick of Charlie Kirk, leader of Turning Point USA known for antisemitic, anti-immigrant and otherwise racist rhetoric. He's already started with the crazy takes blaming Biden for the assassination attempt by a registered Republican with mental issues. I laughed when he actually called Biden an authoritarian when that is exactly what Trump wants to be. Deflection and projection, defending a guy with his eyes on having unlimited power, and a lot of butt kissing makes a great VP choice for Trump.
