FWIW I think the "dictatorship" fears are not North-Korea-style fantasies, but are grounded in the anxiety that we may not have meaningful elections for a very long time. It's the fear that a minority party with unpopular views (the GOP has not won a popular vote since 2004 and increasingly represents millions fewer Americans than the Democratic party in Congress) will continue to win on technicalities (the electoral college and equal distribution of senators) and use the levers of power to entrench its rule. Donald Trump lost in 2020, but looked under every rock for ways to overturn the will of Americans and stay in power. Republican Congressmen who opposed this effort lost their primaries and have been replaced by partisans who say they may not certify elections; local election boards have seen old-guard Republicans replaced by Trump loyalists; the former vice president is persona non grata in his party only because he refused to upend the election at his boss' command. If the people who approve election results at every level now believe that results don't count unless their side wins then we no longer live in a recognizable America. I don't fear becoming a cult of personality state. I am afraid that we'll turn into something like Hungary or PRI-era Mexico: a democracy in name only where one party exploits institutional vulnerabilities, insulates itself against consequences, and millions of people have no real say in our government anymore.

So that means you own some menial non technically skilled business that is more likely a result of a privileged upbringing where you were raised in a family that owned a home or some capital were your risk tolerance is high enough to start a menial low skilled labor business like retail or food services.
