There is a reason I stopped believing in a god a long time ago. I know humans love to explain these situations with the typical "god does things for a reason" but yeah, no one deserves to die in this situation. It's tragic but it's just the reality of life and random chance in this case.

The assassination attempt actually unmasks the extremism of people like @DaDakota who openly wish death upon political opponents. The reality is, people like him wish the assassination attempt would have succeeded. I don't like Trump as a person. But if Trump were actually Hitler, he would have never left power. And he didn't do anything close to what Hitler did in his first four years of government. I would argue that his government's foreign and economic policy was vastly superior to Biden's. Biden's government also allowed DEI and woke cancel culture to proliferate more and was much more into restrictions of freedom of speech than Trump ever was. And of course, as usual, their solution to everything is what leftist governments always want - higher taxes and more big government. Overall, a Republican government is better for the country and the world.

It's funny people reference the yard signs in Crooks family home as evidence he was a Trump supporter. I mean, Crooks might have been a Trump supporter [Though, he did try to kill him and its still unclear why or what exactly his political leanings were] but in what percentage of households is the child putting out political yard signs? 95%+ chance it was his parents who would put out any political yard signs and they don't necessarily reflect the views of the other members of the household.
I don't think you can say that murder is morally justified. That's a really outrageous leap. I can fully believe that a man who tried to overturn our system of government to stoke his own ego, and has surrounded himself with loyalists who perpetuate his lies, is a threat to our stability and doesn't deserve to be murdered.
