THE INABILITY TO DUMP OL TOO COOL JOHNNIE-WALKER-DUST-&-BAKING the wind prior to having another 2023 post-season. (I digress...) ...on the flip (impact players who are showing us all what it is to be an Astro): Jake "DontGiveHimTakes" Meyers, Mo'RicoDubs (can't think of another player who's putting it all out there whenever he's asked to play a position-- dude's a stud & proud of his heritage/story), BiggJohnnSingleton (hella defense/effort and EARNED... welcome back), Arrright-I-gettit, Mr "I just keep tryna get a little better, said a little better than before" HunterBrownstone, these off the wall BP studs who have kept this season afloat-- and substitute of the year: Mr RON el BLANCO...
this is what I dont understand... WHY TF ARENT THEY TAKING P1, P2, P3... and then some... MAKE THOSE PAID MFrs (pitchers) WORK FOR THEIR COUNT??? I mean I guess its all relative to how the behind-the-plate ump is calling the zone-- BUT STILL.... that was an easy fix in that game: TAKE THE PITCHES, CROWD THE ZONE, TAKE THE BODYSHOT (if its there), GET THE NEXT PERSON UP TO THE PLATE -- thats the ONLY mantra Joe Espada / Alex Cintron should be preaching.... edit: grammar, punctuation
