Cam reminds me of Rocket legend KPJ in regards to a lot of wasted motion which also equates to wasted time on the shot clock. A lot of times he doesn’t beat his man of the dribble then he keeps the ball and dribbles some more instead of rotating that ball out. One play for instance he didn’t get a step on the defender as he drove with defender in front of him. He then decelerated did a crossover then moved backwards and dribbled some more. So much wasted time while not shifting defenses. Really pointless offense. Something he really needs to work on is less dribbling and getting that ball out. Haven’t looked it up but he must avg more than 7 dribbles per play.

Didn't you hear? He's guaranteed replacing Jalen when the season starts, despite having worse shooting percentages in the Summer League than Jalen has in the real one :D:rolleyes:o_O:p

I think his teammates were more than a little timid passing Reed the ball when he was open enough to take a shot.

Yeah that's why they like to say "we're stacked on the wings" as a negative for Jalen rather than the way more truthful "we have loads of small forwards." Ime's a real coach, he's not likely to take a SF/PF and push him into the 2 guard spot in his 1st season.

Easily the best stretch we've seen from Griffin, he actually looks like a coordinated professional player.

Sheppard is already a master at finding the corner.

This could be the first game I have ever appreciated Ryan Hollins.

Griffin was super upset having to bring the ball in bounds because it meant he had to pass the ball.

It's too bad our best 3 point shooter is the only one that can hit our open shooters. Ain't nobody returning the favor
