Yeah, its almost a sure thing its going to be Vance but picking Rubio or Vivek would pretty much wrap it up. Vance is too radical and I'm tired of the drama, I just want things to go smoothly without the outrage from the left wing media.
I'll accept who ever Trump thinks will strengthen his campaign but I'm just not a fan.... Its w/e.... Still hopeful Trump goes another route.
He said some dumb $hit about Trump in 2016 and preferred Hillary, I don't really care too much about that but I do feel like there are better options specifically Vivek and Rubio.... If its Vance then ok, atleast he makes the lefties meltdown but Trump is missing the opportunity to pick a solid VP that more people will trust than Vance...
A toss up? They both have polled within 1-3 points of one another overall - but the swing states have favored Trump for months, and he has been the favorite. The poor debate by Biden likely destroyed any chance he had. Still - the polls in at this point in the past have proven to be very different than the actual election results, as we get closer to the elections, in recent history they have gotten closer. Biden had a 9 point lead over Trump at this point in 2019 and won by only a few .... Clinton was ahead of Trump by 7 and lost the election ..... Obama saw his leads get thin as well. 4-5 months is a long enough time for momentum to swing - as reflected by Biden having a 33% chance of winning the election, but short of Trump imploding or dying, it isn't likely Biden wins.
It's going to be Vance, which is a strategic mistake. From a strategy standpoint, I think it would have been Vance if Biden stays in, and Rubio otherwise. But now, after the assassination attempt, I think Vance appeases the MAGA base more who are telling Trump they don't need a more moderate Rubio. Trump personally also likes Burgum because he's a billionaire, but I don't think Burgum has enough appeal. I agree that Dems will have to change from Biden for a fighting chance. Trump could have sealed it with a Rubio or Burgum pick, imo, but maybe he already did. Who knows.
How do you know this at this point? What evidence is there that the shooter was a "leftist" at this point? It may turn out to be true that the shooter was liberal, but right now there isn't really any proof of it. Mental illness seems to be as good a bet as any - look at the assassins of both Kennedy's and the Reagan shooter.
You know they will never leave us normies alone until they have completed the transformation of America. So we just have to fight on one battle at a time.
This. The immediate social media blame game extremism has corrupted our Constitutional Republic. All sorts of politicians have been targeted and attacked. Those who used to say, "don't take it seriously, Trump is joking, not inciting violence" is now all "it's because of the Left!" And there are similar issues with those on the far left. All the rhetoric is problematic. All the extremism is nuts. No, it's not an inside job by Trump. No, it's not an inside job by the Secret Service planted by Biden. Just stop jumping to conclusions, please. Let the investigations play out and don't let the blame game take over your brain. (I know there's a tiny chance it is a conspiracy, but just don't jump into promoting that right away, please)
