Give N'Flay a full deal with the Vipers and flip Orlando into that 2way (unless someone gives Orlando a min contract)
He didn't get much burn tonight which is understandable considering how well Robinson was playing. Hopefully, he can get more time tomorrow and show a little more of what he did at Oregon and what made the Rockets decide to sign him.
Robinson got drafted in 2022 so he should be better than the undrafted rookie. I just dont know if he is really good or just more experienced than everyone else.
Ok after checking Rockets have 3 two way slots, one got offered to Nate Will, another got offered to Nfaly Dante and they have a slot remaining. If they don't like anybody else they can give that 3rd slot to Orlando.
I mean, when we're talking end of the bench garbage minute guys, I'll take the experienced guy who looks more competent than the young guy we have no real need in developing if I'm honest.
He went undrafted actually. But, yeah, he has started games in the NBA and is a lot more experienced. It shows so far.
I am very happy with the 3 headed rotation at center. In Sengun, Adams, and Landale (as all 3 can still be starters; Sengun is a near all-star already.) But having Robinson stashed in the G-league, just in case an injury happens will be very important. Unfortunately injuries happen in Sports, so having quality depth is essential.
Jabari and Landale are needed as stretch 5 options. Do we really need a 3rd string C? Need a project rather than the guy who’s marginally better right now after years of NBA experience. Honestly unless you’re a stretch 5 or a lob threat, we’re covered at C. Dante is a good project but needs 1.5 years of work. Fitness can be better and defensive fundamentals need work. Can set better picks. All achievable stuff but needs time. Can become a Steven Adams type of player.
