I like his bbiq and decisiveness. I'm really not high on him but he will definitely be more valuable than Green in the long run.
Reed, baby Williams and Ke'lel son of Ware all impressed. Meanwhile local reporting suckers fell for the Clankgan hype.
I don’t know about yall, but when I watch Reed play, I see a PG. I’m guessing he backs up FVV this season and takes over next. That means Amen sticks to wing. PG: Sheppard SG: ? SF: Thompson PF: Smith C: Sengun Those four are a fantastic fit. Let Green, Whitmore, Eason, etc. battle for the last spot.
Netflix movie coming soon, made by the creators of Superbad, Knocked Up “The Intern and CEO” Reed and Patrick
I don't see Green being on the roster after this season, and I think Cam would be more than adequate in the SG spot so long as his role was more of a traditional SG rather than the SG's that want to be combo guards. Basically you let Sheppard, Amen, and Sengun be the ball handlers, and let Cam and Smith provide spacing with shooting and score on cuts.
So far, in terms of ceiling and glowing comparisons, I'd say he looks a lot like Mark Price from the way back. So, it's ridiculous to predict any career for a rookie that could compare to Price, but just by eye, the way this rookie moves, sees the game, and shoots, reminds me a lot of M.P.
I agree 100%. I was telling a buddy of mine this very thing. Reed looks great man. Another quality pick for HTown.
I hear you on the battle it out scenario, but If Green stays inconsistent I think he gets moved by the deadline and the lineup is pretty easy... Amen and IRS at guard, Cam and Jabari at forward. Swap in Tari as 6 man at either forward spot. It's a little trickier while Fred is still here but it shouldn't be too hard to see what we need on the court between IRS, Cam, and Amen; their respective games could hardly be more different.
Best thing about this pic is that during the broadcast they were saying how well Reed Sheppard did, then added "Meanwhile on the other side...", and I immediately thought "Dalton Knecht", but "Bronny James". I mean Knecht went for 25 pts, 6 rebs, 4 asst on 9/18 FGs and 5/11 from 3. But naah...we're all here for Bronny. lol.
Definitely a pg. and ideally, he plays next to a player that can compensate for some of his physical shortcomings and get to the rim on sheer athleticism and finish at a high percentage. See Thompson, Amen. So I think they played together and they just end up combining to be the perfect PG/SG combo.
