He’s a better outfielder than Dubon and he needs at bats to get hot at the plate.

    Chas getting hot ain't happening.

I dont want Dubon out there regularly either. Time to trade for an every day LF.

We have one. He just needs more at bats that come with playing everyday

He started the last 2 and was 1-6 with a single and 2 Ks.

He needs to start about 1/2 the games until the Chas from before 2024 appears or the organization hives up on him.

He is not an everyday player right now.

I will say I don't like Dubon in left and would prefer Altuve at DH w/ Yordan in LF and Dubon at 2b, or simply start Cabbage instead of Mauricio.

Dubon would be better when he does play if he played about 25% fewer games.

Dubon's 2-4 against Scherzer, Chas is 0-4. Espada's obviously playing the percentages, it's what smart managers do.

Cabbage shouldn’t start over Chas either.

He's been a zilch on offense though. He's still good on D. This is true.

Yordan is still gimpy, hence why he won't be playing the field any time soon.

Whether its Chas, Cabbage, Joey or Dubon out there, really doesn't move the needle one way or the other (as long as Chas is doing what he's doing).

Dubon batting in front of Altuve seems to work... curious to see what the data shows.

Chas did get 2 homers in one game but was benched for running the bases too much.

How many AB's do you think he needs? If he's still cold as ice at the deadline do you trade for another LF? Who do you want in a trade.

He really only has 1/3 of a full seasons at bats. He has sat a lot. His playing time has been very spotty and he missed time with the pulled hammy.
