almost a year.... and yet another Summer League...a pic this time last year.. Jalen's future optimistic with Ime by his side
Do we have any idea what might have caused the obvious pattern pre-/post- all-star break? It's really strange. I'm trying to think of what the reason might be, but can't come up with anything.
IDK and wish I did. Many would. I don't buy completely that it was all about him playing good only vs bad teams. But I also dont buy most of the theories that have been presented either. I tend to believe its something about Jalen personally. His emotion state perhaps. The condition of his psyche? But its something that fluctuates without warning or apparent reason. I am tired of the excuses, but tired of the debate as whole as well. Either it self corrects or it doesn't. But it seems out of the hands of outside forces. We can be sure that every measure has been taken by the current players and coaches to try to help him.
The form on his jump shot is generally inconsistent. This applies to how high he jumps, to drifting, to arc, to form. There is very little consistency. He was very much consistent in March. I think the biggest key for him is replicable and repeatable motion.
For Jalens sake I hope his representation isn’t dumb enough to think this is a solid argument for Jalen deserving a max or close to it at this exact point in time.
Awesome. It always amazes me how Jalen's the lowest ranked prospect, with more superstar highlights than all of his peers combined.
If Jalen gets traded before the deadline, does his new team then become the one that can match any offer sheet for him?
