Trump is 78. Getting shot in the ear at his age is not the same as getting shot in the ear for a soldier or LEO in their 20s. He still could have suffered traumatic injuries to his brain from the shockwaves. I’d wait for more news before making any rash proclamations. We as a society will not survive if we do not dial down the partisanship. Trump should not have made it through the primaries. But that does not mean some vigilante should take matters into their own hands. Biden should step down for Kamala. What we have right now is not sustainable.

I know all Trump supporters aren't in a cult. Some just vote for any Republican. Billionaires like his tax breaks. Some are so against abortion they vote Republican. Some like far right beliefs, and many are simply hate groups who support his beliefs. Hate groups like the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, Three Percenters, Nazis, and such support a right wing guy like Trump. That's just because he doesn't condemn their beliefs, threats, or violence upon others. But, the brainwashed ones who believe his flat out lies spurted out non-stop have cult mentality. They believe every lie, conspiracy theory, and absurd and completely false statement that comes out of his mouth, no matter how completely false it is. Those types won't even believe the real facts disputing Trump's lies. They take him for his word and call everyone else the enemy, the deep state, crazy libs, commies, or other crap instead of simply researching the truth. Those are the ones who have cult mentality. Those are the MAGA cult. The ones who idolize him like a God and pray to a golden statue of him, even though he lives his life breaking the 10 Commandments like windows from skyscrapers shattering in a hurricanes. I wouldn't say all Republicans are living in an altered state. Some know he's full of sh*t, but just don't give a damn if he's a liar, criminal, fraud, and psychopath/sociopath.
