Aroldis Chapman 105.8 mph back in 2010. Also threw 105.7 mph pitch in 2016.

Wow. Unbelievable that we were able to do all this in less than a month. Without Tucker and JV on top of that. Makes a difference when distractions are DFA'd and we are able to play as a team.

I don’t recall seeing a team turn it around so fast after releasing one player. Incredible.

I fear this pitching matchup today. Arighetti needs a good outing.

I remember watching him at Tennessee and it was just unfair what he was doing to college hitters. Semi-related, Paul Skenes starts have pretty much become "must watch" viewing for me, I love watching that guy pitch. Mustache game is on point too.

Haven't been too many rookie seasons this electric.

    Fidrych
    Valenzuela
    Nomo
    Wood
    Skenes

    The list is pretty short.

Explain to me how Yankees did all the plunking and how it is only the Oriole that gets ejected.

eta: his rookie year at 19 was pretty damn fantastic too

eta2: just looked up some stats, this is Doc's first 2 years in MLB: ROY, 2nd in Cy Young; won Cy Young, 4th in MVP

I'm assuming the umps didn't think it was on purpose and the O's manager went livid.

Astros were 1-6 vs. the Yankees. Wish we could play them again.
