I don't think the Lakers are going to be able to hide him. Everyone wants to know whether he can actually play or not. The only way for him to hide would be to quit basketball and change his identity.

Bronny seems like a good enough dude. Yes, it's basically criminal that the son of a billionaire got millions more solely because of who his dad is, but that's nothing new. That's the world. It's never been fair. Having said that, he does have talent. It's probably not NBA talent, but he can play, and he is a good athlete. No sense being jealous about it, and that's what most of the people who are whining about him are.

It’s pretty easy to see that he isn’t an NBA player right now. He looks small & in waaay over his head. Go ahead and market the NBA/Lakers on opening night. Then to g league he goes to try to develop. Legit NBA talent would eat this kid alive.

Not to mention he needs to be careful with this heart. If he goes out there and tries to over do it I would be concerned of the long-term ramifications.

I totally don't blame him and his dad for wanting to play together for a bit, because let's be honest that's the only reason this is happening (see: the Griffeys with the Seattle Mariners). If he still loves playing basketball and improves enough he'll either move on as a bouncearound bench guy in the NBA or go overseas and make his own way (and a whole bunch of endorsement money)

Unfortunately this was a terrible terrible move by lebron. Bronny wouldn’t play on most college teams

now he gets an NBA contract. It’s probably one of the worst cases of nepotism I’ve seen

Bronny is going to get welcomed to the NBA every time he gets some minutes on the court.

I am glad they signed him, $7.9M less the Lakers have to spend on REAL talent.

I kind of feel bad for Bronny. He will always live in his dad's shadow. Unless he can show the world he really belong in the NBA, he will always be looked at as a silverspoon kid who is no good at anything other than being his dad's son. That's a tremendous pressure.

LeBron is actually doing a disservice to his boy by letting the world know he wants to play with his son. Now everybody knows that he's the manipulator behind Bronny being on the Lakers and getting the contract.

Seriously. All that needs to happen is that he and his dad hit 2 pts in one game
Then they can both go off into the sunset

There is no doubt Bronny will be the most talked about #55 pick in NBA history.
