Just wanted Sengun fans to know that Aliexpress has some sweet looking Sengun hats for sale in a variety of colors for only $8.55. I’m sure they will sell thousands or millions. I wonder if Sengun gets anything from this?

Good to see a lot of data together. It matches my eye test as well. Overall, it is very promising that he is already an average (defensively) starting center at 21 years old. I am sure he will continue improving. Last year was the first year he played heavy minutes. Better stamina, his body getting closer to an nba body and experience are the main sources of improvement that I see.

PS: some of these stats do not really show anything about his defense. Box out % is the percentage of box outs he head on defense. his rank on offensive box out % would be the exact opposite. It is an informational stat, not about how good his defense is. Block % is the % of blocks he makes, so related to how many good blockers there are on the team(his block numbers are not good anyway, just giving the info). For example if you have amen on your team, your % will go down.

He is actually one of the league leaders in box outs.

Yes Def Box out% means just that. Boxing out opponents while on defense and either rebounding the ball or allowing teammates to rebound the ball. This is important on the defensive side just as it is on the offensive side of the ball. Block % just shows his frequency of blocks. Doesn’t mean he is a poor defender it just shows where he is at compared to his peers and gives us a piece of info which combined with other data we can formulate a more complete picture of where he is at as a defender.

    imagine 2 players:

player a makes 9 defensive box outs and 9 offensive box outs. He will have 50% box out %. Player b makes 9 defensive box outs and 1 defensive box out. He will have 90% box out % although player b is the inferior box out player.

Block % is that but the number you quoted is % of blocks not block %. It means he made that % of his team’s blocks while he is on the court not the % of shots he blocked out of potential blocks. For example if he gets 2 blocks and amen gets 4, it is 33.3% vs if a player gets 2 blocks and team mates get 2 blocks, his % blocks is 50% although they made the same number of blocks.

You’re right. Confused it with block% and boxout%. My bad. Thank you

I know @Os Trigonum cannot wait to see our franchise player back in action again...so here is a reminder of what he can do.

The original Sengun. DMo could hit that 3 too. If Sengun deserves the max DMo deserved it too
