Let's all hope this is the end of any serious activity in the Atlantic for the next decade...one can wish at the minimum.
beef jerky and cheese is a better move crackers if needed, dried sausage is sometimes better than jerky https://www.kleinsmokehaus.com/
I hope y'all are doing alright down there and staying safe. Does anyone know of any outage maps since Centerpoint's has been offline since May? I'm curious if there's a way to see which parts of town are getting power restored first.
Wow the coverage I’m seeing doesn’t look good and hearing that 3 million don’t have power. Are there a lot of people getting displaced by flooding?
Alief has power!! I repeat alief power is back on!! A miracle? It usually takes forever even weeks before anyone cares about this district lmao!!
Not sure if this is of any use (or how accurate it is) since their "restoration tracker" doesn't seem to be functional, but found it online : https://origin-gis.centerpointenergy.com/origin_otr/
I looked at that, but their numbers seem wonky or incomplete. Like I think Fort Bend had 0's. They also said on the website that since CenterPoint's system isn't working correctly, all they can do is show the total customers affected since that's all CenterPoint gives them. I can just go to CenterPoint's site and see that. I was looking for something like this : https://nrc4.coserv.com/maps/CoServOutageMap/
Just now have phone service again. First time I have been able to get online. No power since about 9am this morning here in Tomball/Woodlands area. Not too crazy hot in the house just yet. No damage at the homestead or neighborhood that I can see.
