For posterity, what do you think of various draft picks and their chances at success?

Rockets: I think Reed has a chance to be a good third or fourth scorer. I want him to eventually start as he was the #3 pick but I'm not sure if that's in the cards. I have questions about him playing the point full time and he would be a small shooting guard if point doesn't work. His shooting has a chance to make our whole offense run better. My worry is that he can't create separation and will be a spot up three point shooter. Also, his cap might be 15 points per game and I want more from a #3 pick. We'll see. (Also, I wanted Clingan. He's the big man that we're always hoping can guard the paint. Adams is a one year player for us and has an injury history. I'm higher on Jock than most but I think Clingan could have really helped our defense and second team.)

I have no faith in AJ Griffin. He was dropped by his team already and thinks Beyonce promotes Satan. it's too hard to make a team with that background. Maybe he plays well for our g league team.

N'Faly Dante-I always have hope for the last guy in the order. We need a big guy presence and he could help. But he has knee issues and it's hard to see him make an impact. I always root for this type of player on the Rockets and am always dissappointed.

Risacher-He's probably a good prospect but would not have fit here. Can shoot. His youth helps raise his ceiling.

Sarr-I wanted him but we had no shot. Raw. High ceiling if he can shoot.

Castle-His shot will prevent him from being a star. He can be a starter but the lack of a shot really hinders him and I'm kind of glad SAS picked him.

Holland, Buzelis-I just say no to the G league. I know better. Detroit and Chicago are pretty bad organizations so they get no favors there.

Clingan-Yes, I wanted him over Reed. Portland looks pretty bad so he should get a lot of playing time. Combine athletics testing is always overrated.

Dillingham-I was really glad SAS traded him. He was a sleeper of mine in the draft. An NBA level scorer and can shoot the three. His awful D could be compensated for by team defense.

Edey- at 9! Some on here loved this guy. Now's his chance to show something. Timme, Garza, etc have not succeeded and I don't see him succeeding either.

Cody Williams-Another player I liked as a sleeper. Goes to the hated Jazz. We didn't really have a spot for him to play anyway.

Topic-If he had been healthy then I might have put him as our top pick. He has the chance to be great. But questions about shooting are not good. The injury history is a big scare. Of course he went to OKC where he can chill for a year and then come help them. They draft really well.

Ware-Yes, he was trendy. Would have been nice if we had a later pick.

Daron Holmes-Kind of similar to Ware in a good late-round pick.

Edey brings excellent rim protection where Timme and Luka Garza don't. Edey takes
.........the role that Steven Adams had. Drop Coverage defense with a 7'4" Red Wood tree,
.........like Mark Eaton, stays grounded and doesn't fall for pump fakes and still blocks
.........dunks/layups. JJJ provides help defense which made him DPOY in 22/23.
.........Force on offense near the rim, steam roll through most players not a center.
.........Will be a better version of Steven Adams as he can make 3-pointers as noted
.........in his two NBA combine appearances. Gives Morant and JJJ room to
    .........operate. --Grizz-

Devin Carter will do all the dirty work (rebounds, steals, deflections) while providing
..........spacing in the form of 3-point shooting. Gives enough passing ability to
..........keep defenses rotating. Cover toughest offensive threat of PG, SG, SF.
    ..........-Kings-

Kel'el Ware will be perfect next to Bam. Enough of a threat from 3, roll man lob threat.
    ...,..............-Miami-

Dalton Knecht will fly under the radar with most attention on LeBron, AD, Austin
........................Reeves, and Bronny (just kidding). Allows Lakers to move Austin Reeves.
    ........................-Lakers-

    Ware…. Nuff said.

Shep should fit our team needs . Believe he will be ultra effective sixth man.

    Wish we had 2 pix

Jabari averaged 8 rebounds, Edey given minutes 9-11 boards.

I'd give him 13-15. They had to shut him down for summer league after one game. He is as advertised. His lateral movement issues won't matter.

There will be a hand full of starting level role players out of this draft. Some playable depth; Maybe 2 all star appearances and the rest will wash.

I was just messing with you.....but Kessler ain't no G-league scrub. Just an NBA scrub.

He'll be fine. Definitely not a bust.

Some people listen to the PR firms pushing
their client hard like Clingan over better players
    like Edey too much.

Clingan had the best PR team I have ever seen. Edey already is and will be a much better player. That was a great pick by Memphis.
