You would have prefered the crypto-Nazi Putin apologists? You think they would have been better for France?

Neither one is a good choice, but just like in other European countries, much of the surge in voting for right-wing parties is out of frustration with terrible policies by previous governments, specifically with regards to immigration. France definitely has a problem with Islamism, and nobody other than the right-wing parties promise to address it.

Leftists and Islamists waving the flag of a terrorist non-state together is not a good sign for France.

Yeah, it totally seems like you believe "neither one is a good choice."

The reason they aren't in charge is nobody wants to partner up with the crypto-Nazis because everybody who isnt thinks they are the most disgusting of all the options. Simple as that.

Like the Germans who voted in the Nazis because "well, at least they arent Communists, how bad could they really be?"

"crypto Nazis"? I'm not sure what you are referring to.

But it sounds like you think 40% of French voters support Nazis.

Maybe you should consider that they aren't Nazis, but have valid concerns, and no perfect choice to see them addressed.

In public they say Nazis are bad. In private they post this **** to their facebook pages:

    GRaIVKOWYAAFQiN.jpeg

Any party thst has had multiple candidates forced to withdraw for dressing up in Nazi gear or saying positive things about Nazis... if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck is a duck, even if it tells you its a giraffe at a carefuly scripted public PR event.

By your own logic, 3/4ths of the country votes for someone else, so the must have some pretty damn valid concerns that arent being addressed?

What is the crypto part referring to?

Yes, Nazis are despicable. And even jokingly, nobody should dress up as Nazis.

I am not familiar enough with French politics to know whether the true character of the Le Pen party is more like the daughter's public statements or her father's actual Nazi beliefs.

Nazis are bad. So are Islamists who murder Charlie Hebdo cartoonists.

French voters didn't have great choices.

Interesting to see Biden send this letter out this morning to try to preempt more public calls for him to step down.

I’ll be curious to see how that will affect things.

Here is why I think National polls don't matter.

RFK is polling at 10%, in order for the poll to be accurate - he should be removed, as he isn't even on most state's ballots and won't be in November....

I contend that Biden will get most of those RFK votes...putting him solidly ahead in November.

As for France, they let in far too many immigrants at once, it takes 2 to 3 generations for immigrants to assimilate, you have to manage the amount so you don't kill the current culture you already have.....

Some religions are dangerous - some are a political movement - take in refugees sure, but make sure you limit the amount over time so as not to upset the current culture.
