Why are you so determined to try and paint her as something other than African American? It's great that she has many cultural influences to draw upon. Are people born and raised in the US with Jamaican parents not allowed to be called African American? It reeks of desperation.
I didn't watch it since you tagged one of the guys that disgust me. I figured it was something stupid. You guys think all those who don't hate the LGBQT community, or don't join up in hating all those of a certain race or culture, or all brown skinned immigrants, are far left extremists. Sorry to burst your bubble by telling you I'm not a far left extremist, tree hugger, protester, or political activist out doing stuff to draw attention to myself or some cause. Nope. I'm just an average law abiding citizen who doesn't approve of or support those who make racist attacks, or those who are part of or who defend hate groups, extremists of any kind, liars, bullies, rapists, murderers, pedophiles, male cheauvanist pigs, abusers, or any other criminals. That includes white collar criminals.
